  A mid-season maturing large sized plum tomato, Cipolla's Pride arrived in the U.S. when Anthony Cipolla emigrated from Menfi Sicily in 1906. Anthony's son Larry has grown this family heirloom in his Minnesota garden since 1972. A meaty, sweet sauce tomato it's perfect for fresh eating as well. Scott enjoys eating Cipolla's Pride fresh as a mild, sweet, non-tart refreshing snack. Roasted and sauced, it is amazingly sweet
